Your desk controls which part of ARC Library is foregrounded in navigation.

Switch desks

On the website, use the desk switcher in the sidebar. On a phone or in the tablet app, open More to reveal the Quick access drawer. Phones and portrait tablets place the current desk in a dropdown near the top. A landscape tablet shows Reader, Author, and PA as direct choices beside the ARC Library name.

Reader is always available. Author and PA appear only when the related account access is available. Choosing Reader opens your Reader home, Author opens Author HQ, and PA opens PA Home. The drawer closes after you choose so the selected home is ready immediately.

This keeps the page and navigation in the same workspace, so you cannot accidentally remain on an Author page after moving to PA or Reader. Switching desks does not add permissions, remove a profile, or change your subscription.

Use Quick access

Your four saved shortcuts appear first. Phones arrange the title cards in two columns so their full names stay readable, and tablets add icons and short descriptions. Choose Edit to change the shortcuts. The rest of the drawer groups destinations by purpose, and a landscape tablet uses two columns so more choices stay visible.

Search remains at the bottom of the drawer. Eligible Tester Hub and Owner Hub links appear under Your access in the Reader menu, and either can be starred from Edit to join your four shortcuts. Inside Owner Hub, choose Reader menu in the drawer header to return to these Reader destinations without leaving the Owner page. Settings has its own icon beside your profile. Choose your profile for View profile, Messages, and Log out. Notifications remain on your Dashboard instead of being repeated in this menu.

Choose a starting desk

Open Settings → Account & workspace to choose which eligible desk ARC Library should open first. You can also hide a customer desk you do not use. Hiding a desk changes your navigation; it does not delete its information or change permissions.
