Direct ARC offers let an eligible Author workspace offer a book to a reader without asking them to complete a public request form first.

Choose the book and reader, check the offer details, and send it. From Author HQ, choose Open offers to use the Offer Desk. Each send is its own batch, so repeated invitations for the same book are separated by their sent date and time.

On desktop, choose a batch on the left, search or filter recipients in the middle, and inspect the selected reader's exact offer on the right. Tablet uses a horizontal book selector and opens reader details in a sheet. On mobile, tap the compact book card to switch batches, then tap a reader card for the safe-area detail sheet.

Use All, Awaiting, Accepted, and Closed to filter the complete result set. Closed includes declined, expired, and withdrawn offers. Search and page controls keep the selected batch in context.

The detail view shows the offered formats, sent and expiry dates, outcome, country when shared, and a decline reason when available. A reader's email appears only when that exact offer was accepted and the reader chose to share it. The delivery link never appears in the Author Offer Desk.

View your invitation shows the original author note, formats, copy limit, sent count, and expiry. If a batch still has unanswered offers, Withdraw pending offers closes only pending invitations after confirmation. Accepted offers and readers' library copies do not change.

If recipient details cannot load, use Try again. When offline, already loaded information stays visible. Reconnect before refreshing or withdrawing pending offers.

The offer tracker opens independently from Find Readers. If a page load is interrupted, ARC Library offers a safe route back to the app home, so you never need to edit the web address to leave the recovery screen.

When a reader accepts, ARC Library can carry the offer information into their Add Book flow. Acceptance still does not deliver the actual file or physical copy; the author or campaign team remains responsible for fulfilment.

Direct offers require Author Pro and the appropriate workspace permission.
